We laid a new Tarmac® for a customer in Totnes, South Hams. The town has amazing shops and farmers' markets.
The client had an existing drive. It was in poor condition and was 45m². This drive was used to access the property and for parking purposes.
So, to remove the existing drive we used a mini digger which took 2 days.
Once the old surface was removed and compacted with 803 type 1 stone. We then used a compacter and a roller to make sure it was solid. We also ensured to create a stable surface for new Tarmac®. We then laid 50-60mm of Tarmac® to the drive.
We finished off the edges using a block paving border. These are head-wearing and very stable and provide a high-quality finish to your drive.

We recently completed project for a client in Dipford, which is in South Devon. near Totnes.
The client wanted to enlarge their driveway.
We removed existing driveway and lawn, increased the area. To do this we had to use diggers to clear the area and landscape the area.
We can do Groundworks and landscaping if needed.
We built a small retaining wall. For the new driveway it had a base of hardcore, which need to be level and allow for drainage.
The new tarmac was layed using a base coat 50-60mm and top coat 30-40mm and compact
we also had to lay new edging kerbs and brick paving to finish the driveway off.

This is a new driveway that we had to do for a client in Totnes.
This driver is a little bit challenging, as it was a steep incline, and had a sharp corner at The top of the drive.
We had to take up and remove the old tarmac and Concrete drive. You made sure that the base was fine and secure using hard-core. This was then compacted.
We then did a base layer of tarmac which was also levelled and compacted. We finish this off with a topcoat of toilet and finished with kurbs.
