We laid a new Tarmac® for a customer in Kingsbridge, South Hams.
The client had a steep driveway, which is a complicated task to be completed, however, we were ready for the challenge.
The client’s existing driveway was in poor condition and was 38m².
This drive was used to access the property and for parking purposes. So, to remove the existing drive we used a mini digger and it took one day.
Once the old surface was removed and compacted for 20mm in hard stone. We then used a compacter and a roller to make sure it was solid. We also ensured to create a stable surface for new Tarmac®. We then laid a 50-60mm thickness of Tarmac®.
We finished off the edges using a block paving border. These are head-wearing and very stable and provide a high-quality finish to your drive.
