We had to lay a new Tarmac® drive for a customer in Plymouth, on the edge of Devon, Plymouth Crownhill.
The client had an existing block paving drive, which had started to sink in places and had loose clippings that tend to spread everywhere. It was in very poor condition.
The client used it to park their vehicles and to access their property. So, it needed to be heavy-duty.
So, to remove the existing block drive, we used a mini digger that took us 2 days.
We also used an 803 type 1 and a roller to make sure the surface gets strong and solid for the new Tarmac®.
We then laid a base coat of 50-60mm, a 10mm hard stone-wearing course and a top coat of 30-40mm.
We finished off the edges using new edging kerbs and a block paving border. We also reset the manhole cover. The entire process can be a little challenging at times, so when you choose us, we make sure your driveway installation is completed to perfection.
